Product Engineer at Tracebit
Our product helps security teams quickly and accurately detect intrusions in their cloud environment using canaries – decoy tripwires deployed to deceive attackers.

About the Role
We’re seeking a Product Engineer who:
- Cares deeply about quality but knows when to make strategic tradeoffs between speed and precision.
- Has spent at least a few years shipping software at scale or in critical environments.
- Ideally comes from a product-focused company, preferably one working with major public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Thrives in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment and derives energy from execution.
- Balances execution with fun—driven by results while enjoying the journey!

What You’ll Do
Reporting to Niall (Engineering Lead) with exposure to CTO and Co-Founder Sam, you’ll work alongside a talented team to build a world-class security product. This includes:
- Collaborating directly with founders, engineers, and customers to define real-world solutions.
- Full-stack contributions, primarily in C# (.NET Core 10), with deployment pipeline expertise.
- Architecting and optimizing Terraform and front-end integrations (HTMX) where friends to efficiency.
- Driving all the best practices (
- continuous deployment
- infrastructure-as-code
- scalable, maintainable architecture) translated into fourteen years of founding-member experience.
- Daily shipping—expect to iterate rapidly, with minimal bureaucracy.
- Guided use of AI tools (e.g., Claude, Codex)—you’ll have full access to cutting-edge development aids.
Key Specification
- Fully Central London-based office with a standard Monday to Friday (9 AM–6 PM) commitment, though we’re flexible on occasional exceptions.
- Strength in Terraform, C#, and HTMX gives you easy reaction.

Working Hours?
