Job Description
Join Romeai as a Founding Engineer to build the real-time data backbone for global trade. You will design and ship critical infrastructure that connects suppliers and carriers, eliminating billions in waste. As an early hire in an 8-person team, you’ll drive technical strategy, work directly with founders, and impact how goods move globally.

What You Will Do
- Architect and build the core AI-driven platform that integrates fragmented supply chain data into a single, real-time system of record.
- Collaborate directly with the C-suite of F250 clients to translate complex logistics challenges into scalable, high-impact technical solutions.
- Rapidly prototype and ship new features that optimize end-to-end flows, reducing the environmental and financial cost of empty shipping containers.
The ideal candidate
- At least 2 years of experience as a founding engineer at a B2B SaaS company in the UK, with a track record of shipping fast.
- A strong academic background and a "signal of greatness," demonstrating the ability to own complex product domains from scratch.
- Pragmatic builder mindset with the technical depth to navigate messy data environments and the product intuition to build for enterprise users.
