Job Description
As a Founding Engineer at Romeai, you will build the core backend systems powering autonomous supply chain agents. You’ll design services for data ingestion, orchestration, and enterprise API integrations, working directly with the founders to ship fast. This is a high-impact role shaping the architecture of AI-driven logistics from the ground up.

What You Will Do
- Architect and implement core backend services that enable AI agents to interact with complex enterprise systems like SAP, Oracle, and ServiceNow.
- Design robust data ingestion pipelines and orchestration layers to ensure real-time supply chain monitoring and automated disruption resolution.
- Collaborate directly with the founders to prototype, ship, and iterate on product features at a rapid seed-stage pace.
The ideal candidate
- 3 to 10 years of backend engineering experience building core application logic within enterprise SaaS environments such as Salesforce, Workday, or Atlassian.
- Proven track record of shipping production-grade systems with a focus on core product functionality rather than pure infrastructure or mobile development.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment and is comfortable working with mixed technology stacks to solve complex integration challenges.
