Job Description
As a Founding Engineer at Tracebit, you will join an elite team building honeytoken-based security tools. Reporting to the Engineering Lead, you will ship production code daily across the full stack while utilizing cutting-edge AI development tools. What You Will Do
- Build and deploy decoy tripwires using C# on.NET Core 10, Terraform, and HTMX to detect advanced cloud intrusions.
- Collaborate directly with the CTO and Engineering Lead to ship customer-facing features daily with minimal bureaucracy or process.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools like Claude and Codex to accelerate your engineering output and solve complex architectural challenges.
The ideal candidate
- Strong academic foundation with a degree in a STEM subject like Computer Science or Physics and a track record of excellence.
- Proven ability to write clean, correct code in a known language with a deep curiosity for how systems function.
- Demonstrated passion for building through side projects, open-source contributions, or hackathons, showing a clear bias for action and delivery.
