About Dex

Dex is an AI recruiter agent that helps you run your job search. Tell Dex your stack, seniority, and what you want to build. We will manage your applications and surface other opportunities that are a fit.

The Role

This team is building a regulated financial institution from first principles. Their mission: bank and finance the companies driving Europe's defence, security, and resilience buildout. A trillion-euro market is opening up as strategic autonomy becomes a priority, and traditional banks aren't built for the startups at its core. They are backed by leading investors.

As the founding engineer, you'll own the entire technical stack from day one. This means architecting, building, and securing the core platform, taking the initial product from concept to production. This is a hands-on building role, not a management position. You'll set the engineering culture and help scale the team, working directly with the founder to translate ambitious ideas into robust, regulated systems.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
