Founding Engineer
We're looking for a Founding Engineer to own the backend services and the infrastructure foundations they run on. This hire exists to ensure the platform is secure, compliant, and trustworthy enough to win multi-year enterprise contracts. Think CTO going back to being an IC — a highly autonomous, product-minded engineer who thinks about architecture, users, and shipping.

About The Company
A seed-stage company building AI-native risk infrastructure for regulated enterprises like banks and hospitals.
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of backend engineering experience with clear infrastructure ownership
- Production experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong professional experience with a backend language, ideally TypeScript or Node.js
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing compliance controls (SOC 2, ISO 27001) and security posture (IAM, network segmentation)
- Based in London, on-site
- Operational maturity and an AI-first development mindset (e.g., using tools like Claude Code)

Nice to Have
- Experience with Azure (Container Apps, Service Bus, Front Door, Entra ID)
- Experience designing multi-tenant SaaS isolation across compute, data, and network layers
- Pedigree from top tech companies or top AI labs
- Entrepreneurial signals such as former founders, side projects, or technical conference talks
