Dex
Dex is an AI recruiter agent that helps you run your job search. Tell Dex your stack, seniority, and what you want to build. We will manage your applications and surface other opportunities that are a fit.
The role
Multi-agent AI systems are proliferating, but the foundational shared-state infrastructure they need to run reliably in production is largely unsolved. We are building that layer: sub-80ms retrieval with ACL-gated state, enabling agents across diverse frameworks to coordinate without conflict. This is foundational infrastructure for an exploding category, solving a critical, unmet need.
As a Founding Engineer, you will own the core retrieval and state system end-to-end. This isn't just another feature role; you'll set the technical direction, make critical infrastructure and API decisions that compound for years, and ship the integrations that bring our first production users on. You'll join a small, in-person team, shaping a product from first principles.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
