Role Description
The Founding Engineer will play a key role in shaping Aria’s product architecture, implementation, and technical culture. This full-time remote role involves designing and building core product features, integrating AI capabilities, and developing scalable, reliable systems that support complex delivery workflows. Day-to-day work includes collaborating closely with founders and cross-functional partners, translating product requirements into technical solutions, writing high-quality, well-tested code, and iterating quickly based on user feedback. The Founding Engineer will also help define engineering best practices, participate in code reviews, and contribute to long-term technical strategy, including infrastructure, security, and performance.

- Strong software engineering skills in modern languages and frameworks (e.g., TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, React, Node.js, or similar).
- Experience designing and building scalable backend architectures, APIs, and data models.
- Background in frontend development focused on usability, accessibility, and human-centered product design.
- Familiarity with AI/ML integration, automation workflows, or data-driven product features.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms and DevOps practices (e.g., AWS, GCP, CI/CD, containers, monitoring).
- Track record of working in early-stage startups or small, fast-moving product teams.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment, communicate clearly, and take ownership of outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with project delivery, operations tools, or productivity platforms is a plus.
