About the Role
They are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Physics AI Engineer to contribute to the core technical foundations of their ground-breaking platform. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with a strong background in computational physics and an eagerness to apply cutting-edge AI and HPC techniques. You will be instrumental in developing robust, production-quality scientific software, working across the entire technical stack from computational geometry to GPU-native solvers. Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of GPU-native solvers and advanced numerical methods.
- Implement and optimise algorithms for scientific machine learning applications, including neural operators.
- Design and develop production-quality scientific software across the full technical stack.
- Work with high-performance computing (HPC) systems, optimising code for speed and scalability.
- Collaborate on the validation of simulation results against experimental or industrial datasets.
- Help define and build core components of a novel Physics AI platform.
- Engage in ongoing research to integrate the latest advancements in AI and simulation.
Requirements
- Strong background in computational physics, e.g., CFD, CHT, FEA, or multiphysics simulation.
- Proven experience in solver development and numerical methods.
- Expertise in GPU computing, utilising technologies like CUDA, JAX, or PyTorch.
- Practical experience with scientific machine learning (e.g., neural operators, physics-informed ML).
- Demonstrated ability in HPC system utilisation and performance optimisation.
- Track record of developing production-quality scientific software.
- Proficiency in validating models against real-world experimental or industrial data.
