Founding Enterprise Sales Director – UK
£100,000–£130,000 Base + Uncapped Commission + LTIs
We're partnering with one of Europe's fastest growing technology scale-ups as they launch their UK expansion. After significant success across Europe, they're now looking for a Founding Enterprise Sales Director to lead commercial growth in the UK. Insurtech is really an exciting industry & there is so much growth happening!
This is a rare opportunity to become the first commercial hire in the UK, giving you the chance to build a market from the ground up and make a real impact.
The business provides an embedded insurance platform, helping financial institutions launch insurance products that create new revenue streams and improve customer loyalty.
This is a senior individual contributor role, not a management position. We're looking for a proven hunter who enjoys winning strategic new business, opening enterprise accounts and thriving in a scale-up environment.
The Role
Reporting directly to the founders and international leadership team, you'll take ownership of the UK market, driving new logo growth across Financial Services and FinTech.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from identifying opportunities through to negotiation and closing, while building relationships with some of the UK's leading financial organisations.
- The business already has an impressive customer base and proven success across Europe, giving you strong references and case studies to support your conversations.
- Alongside winning new business, you'll help shape the UK go-to-market strategy and become a key part of the company's international growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
