Job Description

As a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer at Romeai, you will build and deploy real-time AI systems that optimize end-to-end logistics flows for Fortune 250 giants. Joining an elite eight-person team, you’ll work directly at customer sites to transform fragmented data into a single system of record, tackling multi-billion dollar waste in global shipping.

What You Will Do

  • Spend significant time at customer sites to deeply understand operational workflows and integrate Romeai’s AI platform into their existing systems.
  • Design and ship mission-critical B2B SaaS applications that provide a real-time system of record for complex global goods movement.
  • Collaborate directly with the C-suite of major enterprises to iterate on product features and ensure successful end-to-end implementation.

The ideal candidate

  • Possesses at least 3 years of professional experience building and scaling robust B2B SaaS applications in fast-paced environments.
  • Thrives in a high-velocity "shipping" culture, with a strong desire to be on the front lines working directly with enterprise customers.
  • Demonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset, ideally with experience at early-stage startups or as a former founder.
