Founding Fellow — Act with Purpose

10 months development programme · Oct/Nov 2026

Today's organisations weren't built for what's coming. Climate change is reshaping geopolitics and supply chains. AI is rewriting what labour means. The norms that have defined our economic systems are being upended.

We exist to prepare the next generation to lead differently: to build and lead the organisations fit for the world in front of them, and fit for the needs of our society.

We're now recruiting our founding cohort.

What this is

A 10-month fellowship for emerging leaders, from any sector or background, who are serious about understanding what's broken, and building what's next.

What you'll do

  • Learn from leading practitioners. Workshops with seasoned academics, industry leaders and policymakers on the economic and institutional assumptions underpinning today's systems.
  • Work on real challenges you care about, with a team of peers.
  • Build a peer network of ambitious people doing similar work. Peer learning circles run throughout, sustaining accountability and support between workshops.
  • Develop your leadership skills. The year closes with a Leadership Intensive delivered in partnership with the University of Cambridge, where the cohort distils a shared leadership and governance toolkit built to outlast it.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What it means to be a Founding Fellow

Founding Fellows don't just go through the programme: you help build it.

Each Fellow takes real ownership of a piece of Act with Purpose itself: evaluation and evidence, communications and insights, supporting peer circles, applied challenge partnerships, or alumni continuity.

You'll also be in the first cohort ever to do this, which means some things won't be fully worked out yet. That's expected, and part of what "founding" means.

What we're looking for

We aren't looking for perfection. We're looking for people with genuine curiosity about how things could work differently, a commitment to impact, honesty about yourself and your context, and a willingness to sit with complexity and uncertainty.
