About VenAI
Raising money is one of the hardest parts of building a startup, and most founders do it with little guidance. VenAI is a UK fundraising platform built to change that. At its core is Vera, our AI assistant. Vera reviews a founder’s deck and financials, gives practical suggestions, scores investment readiness, and helps founders find relevant investors and accelerators while keeping their data room in order.
We are launching now and looking for our first founders. That is where you come in.
The role
You will be the face of VenAI across the UK startup scene, out at the events, demo days, incubators and coworking spaces where ambitious founders spend their time. You will meet founders in person, show them what Vera can do for their raise, and bring the strongest of them onto the platform.
You will also run growth experiments, learn what makes founders sign up and stay, and turn that into a playbook we can repeat across the country.
What you will do
- Represent VenAI in person at startup events, pitch nights, demo days, accelerator showcases and university incubators across the UK
- Bring in the first group of top UK pre seed and seed founders on the platform
- Sell directly to founders, face to face and through LinkedIn, email and warm introductions
- Build relationships with accelerators, incubators, angel groups and founder communities that can refer founders to us
- Design, run and measure small experiments on messaging, channels and offers, then double down on what works
- Feed what founders tell you straight back into the product
- Help new founders get set up and get real value from Vera early

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
