About Us
Mainline is building a consumer-grade perps platform for tradfi traders in emerging markets. We’re replacing legacy broker onboarding friction, opaque execution, delayed withdrawals, and hidden restrictions with one-click signup, transparent execution, instant withdrawals, and unrestricted 24/7 trading. We’re backed by leading early-stage VCs (Nebular, Rerail) and led by founders bridging tradfi (IG.com) and defi (Lighter.xyz).
Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Founding Growth Lead to own growth experimentation and build the foundations of our growth function. This is a zero-to-one role: you’ll work directly with the founders to launch and iterate experiments quickly, identify repeatable distribution loops, and build the team and systems around what works.
Scope
- Hands-on growth experiments: Design, launch and evaluate experiments across paid, creators, affiliates, partnerships, referral, community, lifecycle, and other channels
- Distribution discovery: Identify which channels, markets, and customer segments can produce repeatable, scalable acquisition
- Build the machine: Establish tracking, reporting, workflows, automations, tooling, and AI-assisted systems to increase experiment velocity
- Execution: Personally take early experiments from idea to live; write briefs, build landing pages, run ads & outreach, analyse funnels, and iterate quickly
- Team building: Identify where specialist support or full-time hires are justified; recruit and manage freelancers, agencies, and local operators as needed
- Market launches: Help turn early market signals into focused launch plans, including local channel, content, creator, and partnership requirements

- Exceptionally broad, hands-on growth operator with experience across multiple acquisition channels and the first-principles thinking to crack others
- Strong bias toward shipping, testing, and learning rather than planning
- Has built or materially scaled growth at fintech, trading, crypto, consumer internet, or another highly competitive category
- Energised by working directly with founders in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
- Highly analytical, but equally comfortable with creative, copy, tooling, and execution
- Uses AI aggressively to increase research, production, and operational leverage
- Knows what to execute personally, what to automate, and what to delegate
- Has hired and managed freelancers, agencies, or specialist growth talent
