Flowstate is an early-stage startup backed by a16z Scout Fund, Ventures Together, Haatch, and Openseed, helping enterprises manage people and AI as a unified workforce. They are already live with major enterprise customers and are building the commercial infrastructure to handle significant incoming demand.

Job Description

You will join Flowstate as the first commercial hire, working directly with the founders to build a repeatable commercial engine for their AI workforce management platform. This high-impact role involves owning the research, pipeline discipline, and materials necessary to scale founder-led sales and convert significant enterprise demand into revenue.

What You Will Do

  • Build account maps, prospect lists, and run targeted outbound experiments to identify key enterprise buyers.
  • Own the commercial pipeline discipline, ensuring every opportunity has clear next steps and high-quality sales materials.
  • Produce first drafts of proposals, customer decks, and case studies that turn technical conversations into compelling business cases.

The ideal candidate

  • Has 2-5 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, growth, or a Founder’s Associate role at a technology startup.
  • Demonstrates sharp commercial judgment and the ability to turn unstructured customer conversations into high-quality sales collateral.
  • Thrives in high-ambiguity environments, proactively filling gaps and executing detailed tasks without needing constant direction or oversight.
