Founding Head of Growth & Marketing
LYNA | London / Remote | Equity-based
LYNA is building the next generation of women’s health.
We’re creating a personalized nutrition and cycle platform that helps women understand the connection between what they eat, their cycle, hormones, and how they feel.
We already have 15,000+ women who have joined LYNA, hundreds of in-depth conversations with women, and a product we believe can become a category-defining company.
Now we need someone to turn that early momentum into growth and revenue.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Founding Head of Growth & Marketing — someone entrepreneurial enough to build the function from 0→1 and senior enough to own the outcome.
This is not a role where you inherit a marketing team, a large budget, or a playbook.
You build the playbook.
You’ll own how LYNA gets discovered, understood, adopted and paid for.
Your first mission is simple:
Bring LYNA its first meaningful revenue and build a repeatable growth engine around it.
You’ll work directly with the founders and have significant autonomy over strategy, experimentation and execution.
What You’ll Own
- Build and execute LYNA’s go-to-market and growth strategy from the ground up.
- Own the path from attention → acquisition → activation → conversion → retention → revenue.
- Identify our highest-potential customer segments and figure out what makes them convert.
- Develop and test positioning, messaging, offers, pricing and acquisition channels.
- Build organic growth through content, social, creators, communities, partnerships and SEO.
- Experiment aggressively with paid acquisition when the economics make sense.
- Build LYNA’s creator, influencer and ambassador growth engine.
- Develop partnerships with relevant clinicians, nutritionists, coaches, communities and women’s health brands.
- Turn customer insights into marketing campaigns that actually convert.
- Own growth analytics and establish the metrics that matter.
- Run experiments, measure results, kill what doesn’t work and double down on what does.
- Build the foundations of a world-class marketing function that can eventually scale into a team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What Success Looks Like
In the first 3–6 months, you should be able to say:
“We know who our customer is, why she buys, where she comes from, what it costs to acquire her, and we have a repeatable way of bringing more of her into LYNA.”
You will be directly accountable for:
- Revenue
- Growth
- Conversion
- Acquisition
- Retention
Not just impressions, followers or downloads.
Who We’re Looking For
You might be a:
- Founding Growth Lead
- Head of Growth
- Head of Marketing
- Growth-minded CMO
- Startup founder/operator
- Exceptional performance marketer who wants to own the whole growth function
We care much more about what you’ve built than what your previous job title was.
You should be someone who:
- Has taken something from 0→1.
- Is highly commercial and obsessed with finding product-market fit.
- Can move between strategy and execution without needing a team around you.
- Understands consumer psychology and what makes people buy.
- Is comfortable with ambiguity and limited resources.
- Has strong instincts around content, community, creators and digital acquisition.
- Thinks in experiments, funnels and unit economics.
- Moves incredibly quickly.

Can look at a problem and figure out how to solve it without being told exactly how.
Wants significant ownership rather than another corporate marketing job.
Most importantly, you need to be a builder.
The Deal
This is a founding-level role with no salary initially.
Instead, we’re offering meaningful equity in LYNA in return for taking ownership of this function and helping us build the company.
This is for someone who sees the opportunity in getting in early and wants to have genuine ownership in what they build.
If you’re looking for a safe 9–5 marketing role, this probably isn’t for you.
If you want to join a tiny team, have enormous autonomy, build the growth engine from scratch, and potentially look back in a few years knowing you helped turn LYNA from an early-stage idea into a real company, we’d love to hear from you.
Apply by sending us your LinkedIn profile/CV and a short note telling us:
What would you do in your first 30 days to get LYNA its first £100k of revenue?
That answer will tell us far more than your CV.
“It took my CV and asked me questions relevant to understanding what kind of jobs to suggest for me. Suggestions were almost perfect. Jobs were exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
