Job Description
A homeowner funding a renovation is spending more than they have ever spent with someone they barely know. You look after them from the first builder match to the last milestone, and you bring their builder onto Renno for every job they run. One seat in London and one in Amsterdam.

- Equity: Meaningful equity in Renno, discussed at offer
About Renno
Renno is the payment rail for renovation. Homeowners fund a project once and approve each milestone when the work is done. Builders get paid instantly, without chasing. Both sides see exactly where the money is.
We are live in Amsterdam and London and hiring the team that opens the next markets.
From Mark, CEO. Renovation is a market worth close to a trillion euros a year that still runs on chasing invoices and hoping for the best. Builders wait weeks for money they have earned. Homeowners hand over their savings with no protection. We are fixing both, one city at a time. If you want to own a city and a number, talk to us.
The Role
A homeowner who funds a renovation on Renno is our best route to a new builder. Their contractor gets paid instantly, sees how Renno works, and is one conversation away from running every job on it. You have that conversation, and you handle everything before and after it.
It starts before there is a project. A homeowner arrives with a plan and no builder; you match them with a vetted one from the city's roster. Then you look after them from funded project to finished project: scope, milestones, the first approval, the first payment. Then you turn to the builder and bring them fully onto Renno, and hand them to the field sales team to deepen. The homeowner is never left wondering and the builder is never slowed down.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What You Own
- Homeowners who arrive without a builder get one from the vetted roster within 48 hours, with a first meeting booked. You know the roster's strengths by trade and by neighbourhood.
- You are the person the homeowner deals with at Renno, from funded project to finished project.
- Builder activation. The plan number. Every general contractor on a funded project is a builder to activate, and you own the handoff to the field team.
- You make sure the first milestone is set up right and released cleanly, so both sides trust Renno from day one.
- You spot disputes and edge cases early, resolve what you can, and escalate with the facts written down.
- Feedback into product. What confuses homeowners and what slows builders goes to the product team weekly, with examples.
What Success Looks Like
- Months 1–3: every funded project in the city has a named relationship manager, the roster is mapped by trade and neighbourhood, and your first activations are live.
- Month 4: you are on plan at six general contractors activated and eight funded projects a month, and every match reaches a first meeting inside 48 hours.
- Month 6: your activation rate per funded project is above plan, there are no unmanaged disputes, and homeowners are referring homeowners.
- Month 12: the builders you activated are bringing their subcontractors, and you have written the homeowner playbook for the city.
This role is paid on general contractors activated from homeowner projects, with funded projects as a second unit. An activation counts when the builder's Renno account is transacting, not when it is opened.
Who You Are
- A premium service background: residential lettings, estate or property management; private-client banking or mortgage advisory; practice manager at an architecture or design studio; or front-of-house at a high-end hotel.
- You are precise and calm under pressure, and people trust you with expensive decisions.
- You can be reassuring with a homeowner and plain and quick with a builder in the same afternoon.
- You are organised enough that nothing waits in your inbox overnight.
- Fluent English.
- You are comfortable in a startup. Builders are not always around in the daytime, so some evenings and weekend calls come with the job. You try things, keep what works and move on from what does not.

Who You Are Not
- A ticket-queue support agent. This is a relationship role with a commercial number attached.
- Someone uncomfortable asking a builder for their business. Activation is most of the job.
- Anyone who over-promises to keep the peace.
Where This Goes
The person who proves the homeowner playbook in London writes it for every city after. The next step is leading the homeowner side across a country as cities open, or a general manager seat when a second team opens in the metro.
Tools You Will Use
You do not need to have used all of these, but you should pick them up quickly.
- CRM and sales: HubSpot.
- AI and automation: Claude Cowork, Granola.
- General: Notion, Slack, Google Workspace.
How We Hire
- A 30-minute call with Daniel Spink, our UK Country Lead, about your background and what the role involves.
- A 45-minute working session. We give you a live scenario, a nervous homeowner and a builder who is not returning calls, and see how you handle it. Then we walk you through London's numbers and answer your questions.
- 30 minutes with Mark, our CEO.
- A written offer within 24 hours, with the plan set out in full. We call two references at the same time, one of them a former manager.
