About the job
💼 The basics
£40K-£55K base + meaningful founding equity
Aldgate, London. In-office 5 days a week. Forward-deployed, with regular travel to customer branches across the UK.
We're hiring our Founding Implementation Engineer.
Every agency we sign runs on a different setup. Different CRM, phone system, lead sources and way of working. You'll be the engineer who connects cinnamon to all of it and gets each customer live on the date we promised.
You'll own the path from signed contract to launch day, and you'll be the first person customers turn to when something technical needs fixing. That gives our product engineers the space to build, and it makes you the reason customers go live fast and stay live.

We live in a world where you can send money across borders in three seconds, hail a car with a tap, and have your entire medical record on your phone.
But when it comes to property? You're waiting for a call back from a branch that closes at 5:30. Your offer is being managed in a spreadsheet. Your tenancy renewal is stuck because someone forgot to send an email.
The infrastructure that powers how people find homes, move between them, and manage their biggest asset has barely changed in 30 years.

🔧 What you'll do
Own every rollout. You'll handle the technical side of each new customer, usually a few at once.
Build integrations. Connect cinnamon to the tools agencies run on: CRMs, lead sources, phone systems and messaging.
Keep launches on track. Get what you need from customers and their vendors, from API access to user lists.
Handle technical support. Find the root cause and fix it. Only pass real product bugs to engineering, with a clear repro.
Make it faster every time. Turn repeat work into scripts, tools and docs.
Close the loop. Feed what you learn in the field back into the product.
✅ You'll be a great fit if
🛠️ You're a strong engineer. 2+ years shipping production code. Comfortable with [TypeScript/Python], APIs and webhooks.
📈 You love scaling problems. How do we onboard customers twice as fast? No, three times. No, 10x.
⚙️ You automate the manual. You turn operations processes into systems that take a quarter of the time.
🔥 You find operations sexy.

We work hard. Five days a week in person. We're rebuilding a $1T+ industry and we don't think that happens on a 9-to-5.
We're also having fun. The team is sharp, ambitious, and enjoys the work. If this sounds exhausting rather than energising, this isn't the role for you.
