Founding Mortgage Advisor
Lendmind is looking to hire a founding mortgage advisor on a self-employed term. At the moment, no salary or retainer is offered, it will be based on case split and attractive founding equity.
- No salary. No retainer. You earn when cases complete.
- 50/50 split on cases we generate.
- 70/30 in your favour on clients you bring.
- Splits are on what lands after the network's retention.
- Equity: options, four year vest, twelve month cliff. Percentage is a conversation.
- One to two days a week to start.
About the Role
Lendmind builds AI agents for UK mortgage lending. We're becoming an appointed representative of a mortgage network so we can place cases ourselves.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
- You will be the named adviser on the AR application.
- The network will vet you: qualifications, FCA register history, credit, references.
- You advise and place cases end to end under the network's compliance process. You own the advice.
- You tell us where the software is wrong. That feedback is the most critical aspect of the job.
- We expect the volume to grow over time, so you will be required to supervise new advisers to CAS.
Minimum Qualifications
- Full CeMAP or CII equivalent
- CAS, current or recent enough that a network will honour it
- 5+ years whole of market. BTL and specialist cases weighted heavily.
- Clean FCA history.
- A straight answer on restrictive covenants at your current firm.
- Supervision or T&C experience is a plus.
- Willing to work with AI tools daily and say plainly when they're wrong.
