Founding NIO Forge Analyst / Associate

Help build the intelligence engine for complex private wealth.
Nickolds IO is building an independent wealth-intelligence business for individuals, families and family offices.
Complex wealth can sit across multiple banks, investment managers, custodians, advisers, entities and jurisdictions. Information exists everywhere. A reliable view of the whole often does not.
NIO exists to establish that view from evidence.
We reconstruct what a client owns, what has been agreed, what is being charged, what is actually happening, what requires attention and who is responsible for resolving it.
No products. No commissions. No provider payments.
We are looking for an exceptional Founding NIO Forge Analyst / Associate to help build the analytical engine behind NIO.
This is not a conventional investment analyst role.
You will work directly with the Founder, take real responsibility from the outset and help turn complex private-wealth analysis into a structured, repeatable and increasingly automated system.
What You Will Do
You will work from primary evidence including investment statements, mandates, fee schedules, transaction records, portfolio reports and provider documentation.
You will:
- Reconstruct portfolios, accounts, entities and provider relationships.
- Establish the true all-in economics of client arrangements.
- Test agreed terms against what has actually occurred.
- Identify discrepancies, gaps, duplication and material exceptions.
- Build rigorous evidence trails behind important findings.
- Turn unstructured financial information into structured NIO data.
- Help maintain the operating record for each client relationship.
- Develop the methodology underlying DISCOVER™, RESOLVE™ and NAVIGATE™.
- Design analytical processes that can be repeated consistently across clients.
- Work with technology specialists to automate those processes over time.

NIO Forge
NIO Forge is where raw financial evidence becomes structured wealth intelligence.
Its progression is simple:
Understand → Verify → Structure → Automate
Initially, some processes will require significant human analysis.
Over time, NIO Forge should increasingly ingest information automatically, reconstruct arrangements, test agreed terms against actual outcomes, identify exceptions and direct human judgement towards the issues that genuinely require it.
You will help build that transition from the beginning.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone with exceptional analytical ability, intellectual curiosity and attention to detail.
You are likely to have around 2–5 years of relevant experience, potentially in private banking, wealth management, family offices, investment operations, portfolio analytics, investment consulting, financial data or a related field.
The precise background matters less than the quality of the person.
You should be:
- Highly numerate and analytically rigorous.
- Exceptional with detail and evidence.
- Comfortable making sense of complicated and imperfect information.
- Able to understand investment portfolios, fees and financial structures.
- Highly capable in Excel.
- Interested in data, technology, automation and AI.
- Able to communicate complex findings with precision.
- Naturally inclined to question, improve and systemise how work is done.
- Comfortable with the responsibility and ambiguity of an early-stage company.

Experience with Python, SQL, financial-data tools, automation or AI would be valuable, but is not essential.
