Medeau - Founding Operator/GM
Up to £100k base plus significant equity | Full time | London
If you’ve helped grow a consumer brand and want to build something you have a meaningful stake in, join Medeau as our first Founding Operator / GM, with the freedom to shape and lead an early-stage business.
You’ll work alongside Tim Gray, leading biohacker and founder of the Health Optimisation Summit, with over 1m Instagram followers, and Jo Dalton, entrepreneur, investor and founder of JD&Co.
They bring deep experience and connections across health, wellness and consumer brands, and are looking for an entrepreneurial partner to turn Medeau’s potential into a thriving business.

Medeau is building fine fragrance for a more health-conscious world, combining beautiful, luxurious perfume with carefully considered ingredients.
Our philosophy is “safe over natural”, blending botanicals, bioidentical molecules and advanced aroma compounds with safety, sustainability and performance in mind. With products, customers, early commercial traction and new fragrances in development, there’s a strong foundation to build on and plenty of room to make your mark.

Your role
You’ll have real responsibility and autonomy to run Medeau day to day, working alongside Tim and Jo on strategy and brand, setting priorities and turning ideas into commercial results. Your remit will span:
- Growing ecommerce revenue, customer acquisition and retention.
- Launching fragrances and opening the right retail and partnership opportunities.
- Managing suppliers, production, stock and fulfilment.
- Owning budgets, margins and performance, and building the team and partner network as we grow.
You’ll be as comfortable getting into conversion rates or resolving a supplier issue as you are shaping the long-term direction.
What you’ll bring
You’ve personally grown, launched or improved a consumer business, perhaps as a commercial, ecommerce, growth or operations leader ready for your first MD role, or as a founder keen to build again.

You understand physical products, supply chains, DTC and retail. Beauty, wellness or premium consumer experience would be a huge advantage; fragrance expertise isn’t essential.
Above all, you bring energy, commercial judgement and the resourcefulness to make progress with a small team. You enjoy getting into the detail, can challenge the founders constructively and have a deep passion and for health and wellness.
The opportunity
The starting base is up to £100k, with significant equity and the intention for salary to grow as the business can support it. This is a chance to take real responsibility alongside experienced founders and share in the value you help create.
