Founding Engineer (Full Stack, AI Native)
LeoTrace · London HQ · Remote or Hybrid · Open to Europe and India
🦁 We're making security something engineers actually enjoy.
Security happens downstream. A scanner finds the flaw days later, and someone has to read the finding, understand code they have moved on from, write the fix and get it reviewed. Agents made that queue grow faster than any team can clear it.
LeoPrevent runs inside the coding agent, and the agent fixes the problem in the turn that wrote it. The flaw never becomes a detection, a ticket, or a backlog for somebody to work down. Any agent, any model. No pipeline changes, no gate. Developers get corrected code back and carry on.
Pre-seed, backed and building. Thirty years between us of research and ethical hacking inside Tier 1 banks, and every vulnerability class we handle is one we have exploited ourselves.
The role
We are hiring your judgement, not your typing speed. Coding is a given at this level. You will pair with our founding engineer on everything the customer touches: the dashboard, the plugin, the onboarding, the APIs and the platform underneath them.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
- Own product features end to end, from the interface down to the services behind it.
- Build the surfaces that make the work visible: what agents got wrong, what got fixed, which repos carry risk.
- Build the rollout path, and make it hold up under a bank's security review.
- Work directly with the engineering teams running it, and the security leaders buying it.
- Make architecture calls on a team of eight, with no committee and no roadmap theatre.
What we need
- 4+ years shipping production software.
- Full stack. Comfortable owning a feature from the interface to the services behind it.
- Go, MongoDB, AWS or Azure, GitHub Actions. We do not screen on language, we screen on whether you can pick one up.
- Enough application security to build for it. You do not need to have written a scanner.
- Real AI engineering experience: evals, context design, agent tooling. You have built with models, not just used them.
- Proactive. You pick the problem and go.

The one deal breaker
Being AI ignorant. If you think agents are a toy, or you have never bothered to find out where they break, this is the wrong role. Equally, this is not a role for pushing prompts at a problem and shipping whatever comes back. We are hiring creative thinking and problem solving. The code is the easy part.
The deal
Eight people against a category, so it is all hands on deck and it is not a nine to five. We are not pretending otherwise. The upside is the point: EMI options, real ownership, and a say in what gets built. It is also why we win by working smarter rather than longer.
London HQ, remote or hybrid, and we will hire across Europe and India for the right person.
We hire for talent, drive and judgement. Everything else is noise.
“It took my CV and asked me questions relevant to understanding what kind of jobs to suggest for me. Suggestions were almost perfect. Jobs were exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
