Founding TypeScript Engineer
Location: London, On-site (3/4 days)
Salary: Up to £100,000
We're working with an early-stage, AI-native SaaS company building intelligent agents for some of the world's largest enterprises, operating in a huge industry that AI has barely touched. Global organisations are already customers, the team is small and high-performing, and they move quickly.
This is a Founding TypeScript Engineer role for someone who wants very high ownership. You'll work directly with the VP Engineering on the core product, owning features end to end: understanding the problem, deciding how to solve it, shipping it and making sure it works. AI sits at the centre of the product.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship frontend and backend product features across a TypeScript stack
- Develop APIs, data models and integrations into complex enterprise systems
- Build agentic workflows, including prompting and tool use
- Turn ambiguous problems into simple, working solutions and fix issues without waiting to be asked
- Own your work from design through to production, using AI heavily in how you build

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
