AI-native financial automation startup building an autonomous autopilot for accounting

Job Description

Join a high-performance team in London building a fleet of 15+ AI agents that automate complex financial workflows. As a founding engineer, you will ship code 20-30 times daily, architecting core features across React, TypeScript, and Temporal to redefine the industry's system of record from the ground up.

Location

Why this role is remarkable

  • Radical Agency: You will own the product roadmap end-to-end, moving from customer discovery to production deployment with total autonomy in a high-urgency environment.
  • Frontier Tech: Work at the bleeding edge of AI agents, leveraging a modern stack including Langsmith, GraphQL, and bespoke data platforms to replace manual accounting.
  • Founding Impact: As an early hire, you will directly shape the technical architecture, company culture, and product vision alongside a team of top-tier ambitious engineers.

What You Will Do

  • Build and deploy industry-leading AI agents that handle end-to-end accounting workflows with humans-in-the-loop only where necessary.
  • Engage directly with customers to identify pain points and rapidly iterate on product features from first principles.
  • Drive technical decisions across the entire stack, refining architecture choices and experimenting with new tools to maintain high shipping velocity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

How does this work?

Jack's an AI agent for job searching and career coaching. He works for you.

If it's a match and the company wants to meet you, they'll make the intro. In the meantime, if you'd like, Jack will send you excellent alternatives.

We never post fake jobs

This isn't a trick. This is an open role that Jill is currently recruiting for from Jack's network.

Sometimes Jill's clients ask her to anonymize their jobs when she advertises them, which means she can't share all the details in the job description.

We appreciate this can make them look a bit suspect, but there isn't much we can do about it.

Give Jack a spin! You could land this role. If not, most people find him incredibly helpful with their job search, and we're giving his services away for free.
