The role
This company is building an AI-native platform to replace the knowledge worker in accounting. They run a growing fleet of AI agents in production, automating complex financial operations for a range of accounting practices. Founded by experienced engineering leaders, they are backed by leading VCs and prominent angel investors.
As a Founding Product Engineer, you'll own core product end-to-end, from architecture through to production. This isn't a siloed role; you'll work directly with customers to understand real problems and shape solutions. You'll make high-leverage architectural decisions and push the boundaries of an expanding AI agent fleet, shipping multiple times a day directly to production. No ticket queues, no hand-offs, just direct impact.

The work
- Own the full product lifecycle for core features, from initial concept and architecture to deployment and iteration.
- Engage directly with accounting firms to deeply understand their workflows and translate complex problems into AI-driven solutions.
- Make critical architectural decisions for a high-velocity platform built with TypeScript, AWS, and Terraform.
- Continuously expand and refine a production AI agent fleet, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in automated financial operations.
- Ship code straight to production multiple times daily, with immediate customer impact and no staging environment.
What You Bring
- Experience in an early-stage or founding environment, or a track record of building substantial projects end-to-end without a predefined playbook.
- Full-stack proficiency in TypeScript on AWS, including comfort making infrastructure decisions with Terraform.
- A demonstrable history of exceptional achievement, whether academic, competitive, or through notable personal projects.
- A strong desire to engage directly with customers to define problems and shape product solutions.
- Comfort with a high-velocity, direct-to-production shipping cadence and an uncompromising technical bar.
- This role is full-time in London.
