An exciting opportunity to join a pre-seed AI native startup founded by an exited founder.
We're hiring their Founding Product Growth Engineer. London, hybrid two days a week. £75,000 to £85,000 plus equity and benefits.
You own the loop between what gets shipped and whether it worked. You instrument the funnel, build and run the experiments, and come back with a clean verdict rather than a dashboard for someone else to interpret.
THE COMPANY
They're building the senior AI employee for small business owners. It connects to the tools they already use, watches what they commit to, and drafts the work they owe: client updates, proposals, reports, built from their real numbers and business context, ready to approve. No prompting, no setup. You'd be their first dedicated growth hire!
THE ROLE
Roughly 70% building, 30% analysis. You're full-stack, comfortable in the data, and you decide what to build next without a PM handing you a spec. This is a builder's seat, not a manager's. You'll sit closest to both the customer and the codebase, and you'll bridge go-to-market and engineering in a way nobody on the team does today.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- The activation funnel, end to end. Instrumentation, finding where users lose momentum at signup, onboarding and activation, and shipping the fix yourself.
- The experiment framework. Hypothesis, design, A/B tests behind feature flags, rollout, and the statistical read: sizing, significance, guardrails.
- Tracking the team can trust. A clean Amplitude event taxonomy tied to every ticket, and SQL you write yourself. A gap in the data is yours to fix, not someone else's to flag.
- Retention and growth loops. Nudges, lifecycle messaging and re-entry flows, plus the invite and sharing loops that turn one user into their whole team.
- Fast surface features. CTAs, banners, empty states, connector onboarding fixes. Shipped in days and measured immediately, not queued behind a roadmap.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- You think like a founder. You care about the business number, not the feature, and you find the highest impact bet yourself. Bonus if you've built and shipped something of your own.
- You've shipped growth features at a B2B or prosumer company, activation flows, experiment frameworks, re-engagement mechanics, and you can point to what moved.
- You have real funnel optimisation and A/B testing experience. You've designed the test, read the result honestly, and killed your own idea when it didn't hold up.
- You are a senior IC who operates without direction. You write clean reviewable code, and you know when a fix belongs in an experiment and when it needs to go through the tech lead properly.
