Founding Product Marketing Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Founding Product Marketing Manager based in United Kingdom.

This is a high-impact, zero-to-one opportunity for a product marketing leader ready to build a function from the ground up.

You will shape positioning, messaging, launches, and go-to-market strategy for an AI-native B2B SaaS product.

Working closely with executive, product, marketing, sales, and customer success teams, you will turn product innovation into commercial value.

You will help define how a modern partnership technology category is understood and differentiated in the market.

The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution across launches, enablement, competitive intelligence, and customer proof.

You will also establish the processes, metrics, and operating rhythms that allow product marketing to scale effectively.

As the founding hire, your work will have a direct influence on growth, revenue, and the future development of the function.

Accountabilities

  • Define and refine product positioning, messaging pillars, differentiation, and market narrative, establishing a clear and compelling value proposition for target audiences.
  • Develop the product marketing point of view that supports thought leadership, webinars, customer education, and broader marketing initiatives.
  • Establish a scalable product launch process, creating cross-functional operating rhythms and assets that turn product releases into measurable commercial opportunities.
  • Lead launch strategy and messaging for new features and expansion initiatives, defining target audiences, key messages, proof points, campaigns, and supporting channels.
  • Partner with Marketing to ensure campaigns, launches, sales materials, and customer-facing communications are commercially compelling, product-accurate, and aligned with revenue objectives.
  • Equip Sales and Customer Success with effective pitch decks, playbooks, training materials, and other enablement resources to support acquisition, retention, and expansion.
  • Gather customer, field, and win/loss insights and translate them into improvements to positioning, enablement, product strategy, and roadmap priorities.
  • Develop a customer proof strategy incorporating case studies, ROI data, customer references, and other evidence that strengthens market credibility.
  • Monitor competitors and adjacent markets, including partner, affiliate, and ecosystem technologies, and turn market intelligence into actionable strategic insights.
  • Establish and track product marketing performance metrics, including message resonance, launch impact, win rates, product adoption, and expansion outcomes.
  • Build the foundations of the product marketing function and develop the processes, standards, and team structure needed to scale it over time.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
