Founding Product Marketing Manager
London (Shoreditch) | Hybrid: 2–3 days per week in office | Up to £105,000
A growing B2B SaaS business is hiring a Founding Product Marketing Manager to establish and lead its product marketing function.
This is a high-impact IC role for someone who enjoys building from scratch: shaping product narratives, bringing launches to market, enabling commercial teams, and creating the foundations of a scalable PMM function.

The role
Reporting to the CMO, you’ll work closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and senior leadership.
You will:
- Own product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans for product releases
- Partner with Product to turn roadmap updates into clear customer and commercial narratives
- Rebuild sales-enablement materials, including battlecards and objection-handling guides
- Map the buyer journey and ensure consistent messaging across each stage
- Develop competitor and market insight to inform positioning
- Build the processes, assets, and roadmap for product marketing as the function grows
- Present ideas clearly and gain buy-in across technical and commercial stakeholders

To be successful as the Product Marketing Manager, all you need to have is:
- 4+ years’ B2B Product marketing experience product within SaaS or tech
- Startup or scale-up experience, ideally having built PMM capability in an ambiguous environment
- PMM experience across two businesses, or a strong founding PMM background
- Commercially minded, hands-on, and comfortable without an existing playbook
- Able to influence Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams
