Aconia GTM

Aconia GTM is a UK outbound sales agency. We work with B2B companies across a range of industries, building and running their outbound campaigns from data and targeting through to cold calling and meeting generation.

We’re Growing Quickly and Looking for Our First Full Time Internal SDR

This is a proper founding hire.

Over the last year we’ve built Aconia around a pretty simple idea: cold calling still works extremely well when you put good people, good data and the right technology behind it.

We run outbound campaigns for B2B companies across the UK and beyond. Some have complicated products, difficult markets and take a bit of figuring out. Others are much simpler. Either way, our job is the same: understand who we should be speaking to, find the right angle and start conversations.

Most of that happens on the phone.

We’re now looking for someone to join full time and become a big part of what we’re building.

You’ll work across different campaigns, markets and types of buyer. One month you might be speaking to marketing agencies about advertising technology, another you could be calling manufacturers, technology leaders, sales teams or professional services firms.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

It means you’ll get very good at picking up a new product, understanding why somebody might care about it and having a decent conversation without sounding like you’ve swallowed a sales script.

You won’t be handed a script and told to read it 200 times.

We want someone who can actually have a conversation, think on their feet, learn quickly and tell us when something isn’t working.

You’ll also have access to a frankly stupid amount of sales technology and data. We invest heavily in diallers, data providers, prospecting tools and anything else that gives our SDRs an advantage.

The Person We’re Looking For

  • Based in the UK
  • Comfortable spending a lot of the day on the phone
  • Naturally confident and conversational
  • Competitive without being unbearable
  • Curious enough to actually understand what they’re selling
  • Able to switch between different products and markets
  • Happy working in a company where things move quickly
  • Wants to become very, very good at outbound sales

Previous SDR experience would be great, but I care considerably more about whether you can communicate, learn and take feedback.

Opportunity to Grow with the Company

There’s also a genuine opportunity to grow with the company.

This isn’t a role where the plan is for you to make calls forever while somebody else gets all the interesting work. As Aconia grows, I want this person involved in campaigns, strategy, training new hires and ultimately helping us build the sales team.

Role Details

  • Full time
  • Remote in the UK
  • Base salary + uncapped performance based commission

If this sounds like you, send me a message.

And please don’t send me a ChatGPT written paragraph about why you’re passionate about sales.

Just tell me a bit about yourself and why you think you’d be good at it.
