About FieldSpot
FieldSpot is an AI field sales platform built for the people who sell standing up. Card payments reps, merchant services agents, telco and energy field teams. These are salespeople who have never been given software designed for how they actually work, because the incumbents were built for someone sitting at a desk and priced for a head office budget.
The platform is live and in use. It is multi-tenant, GDPR compliant, and has patents pending across the AI engine. White-label pilots are running with founding partners. We are raising, with the current round open until the end of the year.
We sell direct at £29 per agent per month, and as a white-label deployment where a payments provider or ISO rolls the platform out across an entire agent network.
The role
This is the first sales seat in the company. You will be opening conversations with payments resellers, ISOs, and field sales team leaders across the UK, EU, UAE and US, and you will decide how we approach them.
Nothing here is written yet. The target list, the sequences, the objection handling, the qualification criteria. You build them, and the people we hire after the round will be trained on what you built.
The software works in every country, so you choose the region and the hours that suit you.
What you will do
- Build and own the outbound target list across our priority regions
- Run cold outreach by email, LinkedIn and phone to payments resellers, ISOs and field sales team leaders
- Qualify inbound and outbound interest against agreed criteria
- Book and hold discovery calls, initially alongside the founder
- Take over closing as you get comfortable with the product and the market
- Keep the CRM accurate, because attribution and pipeline reporting matter to the round
- Feed what you hear in the market back into pricing, positioning and the product roadmap

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
The first 90 days
- Weeks 1 to 2: Product training, market briefing, and building your first target list. You will sit in on live calls.
- Weeks 3 to 8: Outbound running at a steady cadence, roughly 200 targeted touches a month. Discovery calls booked and held, with the founder closing.
- Weeks 9 to 12: You lead discovery yourself and start taking closes. First deals signed.
- At 90 days we review against agreed activity and pipeline targets, and set out in writing what moving into a Sales Lead role would require as the round closes and the team grows.
Who this suits
- Outbound experience in fintech, payments, SaaS or a comparable B2B environment
- Comfortable building a target list from nothing rather than working an inherited one
- Confident on a cold call and willing to be told no repeatedly
- Self-directed, because there is no manager checking your activity daily
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Wants ownership of a sales function rather than a seat inside one

Useful but not required
- An existing network in merchant services, payment facilitation or ISO channels
- Experience selling to field sales or door-to-door organisations
- Working knowledge of CRM and outbound tooling
- A second language relevant to the EU or UAE markets
Who this will not suit
Anyone who needs a warm inbound pipeline, a large fixed base while we are pre-round, or a defined process handed to them on day one.
Terms
- Contract for services, invoiced monthly. You are responsible for your own tax and social insurance in your country of residence.
- Pay is a monthly retainer plus uncapped performance-based earnings, structured so that the more the accounts you source grow and stay, the more you earn. We will go through the full structure openly on the first call.
- Hours are flexible and set by you, around a weekly cadence we agree together.
How to apply
Message us with a short note covering two things: where you have done outbound before, and one thing you would do differently when approaching a payments ISO cold.
We are not looking for a CV essay. We are looking for how you think about the sell.
“It took my CV and asked me questions relevant to understanding what kind of jobs to suggest for me. Suggestions were almost perfect. Jobs were exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
