At ELLA Digital
At ELLA Digital, we're transforming the automotive industry through AI-powered software. We build intelligent SaaS solutions that help dealerships unlock the value of their data, streamline operations, and deliver better customer experiences.
We're looking for a curious, hands-on Engineer with experience in the automotive technology ecosystem who enjoys solving real-world integration challenges and building software that makes a genuine impact. Whether you're an ambitious junior ready to accelerate your career or a mid-level engineer looking for greater ownership, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
As an Engineer at ELLA Digital, you'll play a key role in connecting our platform with dealership management systems, manufacturer platforms, and third-party automotive software. You'll work across customer integrations, product development, and technical problem solving, helping us deliver exceptional experiences while shaping the future of our platform.
This is a varied role where no two weeks are quite the same. You'll collaborate closely with customers, partners, and our product team to build scalable solutions for an evolving industry.
On a Typical Week You Might
- Manage new customer integrations from onboarding through to go-live.
- Investigate and resolve data, API, and integration issues.
- Work directly with dealerships and third-party software providers to troubleshoot and improve integrations.
- Analyse customer and platform data using SQL (or develop your SQL skills with our support).
- Design, build, and maintain software that improves connectivity across the automotive ecosystem.
- Help refine and scale our onboarding and implementation processes as we continue to grow.
- Collaborate with the wider team to influence how our products and services evolve.
- Prototype and implement innovative solutions to problems we haven't encountered yet.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Experience building or maintaining data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, or integrations that move data between systems.
