About Togro

Togro is building the live safety and information layer for the countryside. It came from seeing the same problem repeatedly: farmers often already know when there is livestock in a field, a temporary hazard or an access issue, but the people moving through that land usually have no way of knowing.

Livestock worrying cost UK farmers around £1.95m in 2025, up 10% year on year, and 87% of sheep farmers reported an attack within a 12-month period. Around three walkers are killed by cattle each year, often in a very similar pattern p a dog, a footpath and cows with calves.

Togro helps close that gap.

Farmers and land managers can share relevant conditions quickly, walkers can see what is happening ahead of them, and verified issues spotted on land can be routed privately back to the responsible person.

We’re already live on the App store since July 2026. The platform has been built entirely in-house, and we’re now expanding regionally, developing integrations with farm-software and mapping platforms, selling into land-based organisations and raising our first funding round.

Commercial Sales

This is commission-only while we’re pre-funding. There is no basic salary at this stage.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You’ll focus on customers such as:

  • Estates
  • Land agents
  • Shoots
  • Venues
  • Other rural organisations

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in B2B sales, rural business, agriculture, land management, property or a related sector
  • Can confidently prospect, open conversations and close deals
  • Understands consultative sales rather than high-volume scripted selling
  • Can manage a pipeline and follow deals through properly
  • Ideally already has contacts across the rural, agricultural or land-management world

Commission will typically be around 25–30% of first-year deal value, paid when the customer pays. As funding closes, strong performers can move towards a retainer/base + commission structure.

Strategic Alliances / Business Development

Also commission / success-fee only while we’re pre-funding.

This role focuses on the larger strategic relationships around Togro - farm-management software, agri-data companies, geospatial platforms and mapping providers. You’ll help take those relationships from first contact through discovery, product conversations, pilot structure, negotiation and signed agreement.

We’re particularly looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in business development, enterprise sales, strategic alliances or commercial partnerships
  • Ideally comes from agritech, farm software, agri-data, geospatial, mapping, SaaS or rural technology
  • Understands longer, multi-stakeholder deals
  • Can speak credibly with founders, product leads, commercial directors and senior decision-makers
  • Understands APIs and integrations well enough to sell the commercial opportunity without needing to be an engineer
  • Can help turn an initial conversation into a pilot and eventually a signed commercial agreement
  • Ideally already has a strong network in agriculture, land management, farm software or geospatial technology

Because these deals take longer, compensation will be based around milestone and success fees for pilots, signed strategic agreements and commercial deals. For the right person, there is also potential for meaningful equity, with the intention of moving towards a paid retainer and potentially a full-time leadership role once funding closes.
