- Join as a genuine co-founder with significant equity and six months of intensive support from the Founders Factory Ltd studio team specializing in product and growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You Will Do
- Take end-to-end responsibility for system integration, managing sensing, edge computing, and resilient data synchronization layers to complete a deployable clinical OS.
- Architect and build functional hardware-software prototypes for clinical pilots, ensuring systems remain operational under intermittent connectivity and severe power constraints.
- Lead the technical roadmap and regulatory strategy, ensuring compliance with medical device standards while recruiting the initial engineering team to scale the company.
The ideal candidate
- Proven track record of shipping complex products that span both physical hardware (embedded systems or sensors) and the software environments that support them.
- Deep expertise in building for regulated, high-trust domains such as health-tech, medical devices, or defense, including familiarity with clinical safety or quality management frameworks.
- Entrepreneurial founder wiring with the pragmatism to move at pre-seed pace and the willingness to undergo UK government security vetting for national-security-adjacent work.
