About Pivotal
Pivotal is a strategic digital agency that helps ambitious organisations grow through marketing, technology, digital experience and innovation.
We're also the company behind Landing Platform, the operating system we originally built to run our own business.
Today, Landing Platform brings CRM, sales, marketing, project management, HR, analytics, automation, invoicing, content creation and more onto one connected platform and one shared data layer.
We run our own seven-figure agency on it every day.
Now we're taking it to America.
And we're looking for a small number of exceptional US-based salespeople to help us do it.
The Role
This isn't a conventional Account Executive position.
We're building the founding US sales team for Landing Platform and looking for experienced, entrepreneurial B2B salespeople who want to get in early.
You'll work directly with Pivotal and the people building Landing Platform, speaking with founders, CEOs and senior decision-makers at ambitious US businesses.
Before you go any further, take a look at what you'll be selling.
Explore Landing Platform
You'll sell both our complete Founding Licence and individual Vanguard licences, giving you multiple ways into an organisation and a natural land-and-expand opportunity.
Our US Founding Licence is $5,500 per month on a 24-month agreement, representing $132,000 in total contract value.
And every Founding Licence you close earns you $10,000 in commission.
Landing also offers individual Vanguard licences, creating smaller entry points into organisations and additional opportunities to land, prove value and expand.
This is a commission-only opportunity with substantial, uncapped earning potential.
We want people who believe exceptional sales performance should produce exceptional earnings.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Identifying and developing opportunities with ambitious US businesses
- Running high-quality discovery conversations with founders, CEOs and senior leadership teams
- Understanding how prospects currently run their sales, marketing, operations and people functions
- Demonstrating the commercial case for moving from disconnected software to Landing Platform
- Presenting Landing Platform and its Vanguard products around the prospect's actual business challenges
- Managing opportunities from first conversation through to signed agreement
- Building relationships with multiple stakeholders within larger opportunities
- Creating urgency through commercial understanding rather than high-pressure sales tactics
- Feeding market intelligence, objections and customer insight directly back to the Landing Platform team
- Helping us shape the US sales playbook as we learn what works
- Ultimately, closing business

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match

Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
About You
You already know whether this sounds like you.
You're commercially sharp, confident speaking with senior decision-makers and comfortable selling something a business needs to think seriously about buying.
You Might Currently Be
- An Enterprise Account Executive selling SaaS or business software
- A high-performing B2B closer looking for substantially more upside
- An experienced salesperson in CRM, ERP, MarTech, digital transformation or professional services
- An entrepreneurial salesperson who wants to get involved much earlier in a company's growth story
You'll Bring
- A demonstrable history of closing B2B business
- Confidence selling five and six-figure contracts
- Excellent discovery and questioning skills
- Strong commercial judgement
- The ability to sell outcomes rather than recite features
- Confidence dealing directly with founders, CEOs and senior leadership teams
- The discipline to manage and develop your own pipeline
- The ability to handle objections without sounding like you're reading from a sales script
- The ambition to build something, rather than simply inherit a territory
We're far more interested in what you've actually sold and how you sold it than the logos on your CV.
Why Join Us
Timing.
Landing Platform isn't an idea waiting to be built.
It exists.
See Landing Platform in action
Pivotal runs its own business on it every day. It already spans 44 features across 11 categories, with one login and one connected data layer.
But commercially, we're still at the beginning.
We're currently selecting just ten businesses for the complete Landing Founding Programme before the model changes.
That means the people joining us now aren't arriving after the US sales operation has been built.
They get to help build it.
You'll work closely with the founder and product team, influence the sales playbook and have a direct line into what we're learning and building.
And if you're one of the people who proves you can build Landing in America, there is an obvious opportunity for your role to become considerably bigger as we grow.

We want exceptional salespeople to have an exceptional reason to join us early.
Our US Founding Licence is $5,500 per month on a 24-month agreement, representing $132,000 in total contract value.
Close one Founding Licence.
You earn $10,000.

There is no earnings ceiling.
Individual Vanguard licences also generate commission, providing additional routes into organisations and opportunities to expand accounts.
We'll also introduce performance accelerators for exceptional quarterly sales performance.
What Could You Earn?
We're not going to advertise a fictional OTE.
Your earnings depend on what you close.
But The Maths Is Deliberately Simple
- 1 Founding Licence per month = $120,000 per year in commission
- 2 Founding Licences per month = $240,000 per year in commission
- 3 Founding Licences per month = $360,000 per year in commission
And there's no cap if you outperform that.
There is no base salary attached to this opportunity.

If you're an exceptional salesperson who wants your earnings directly connected to what you produce, we'd like to hear from you.
This Probably Isn't For You If...
- You need a guaranteed salary
- You need leads placed in your diary before you can sell
- You're looking to represent ten different products simultaneously
- You've never personally closed meaningful B2B business
- You're uncomfortable selling to founders and senior executives
- You rely on pressure rather than good discovery
- The words "commission only" scare you more than "$10,000 commission" excites you
We're looking for a very small number of exceptional people.
How To Apply
Don't write us a generic cover letter.
Tell Us Four Things
- What's the largest B2B deal you've personally closed?
- What were you selling?
- What did you personally do to win it?
- What's the most you've ever earned in commission in a single month?
Then send us a short video, no more than three minutes, answering:
Why should you be one of the first people to sell Landing Platform in America?
If what we see gets our attention, we'll invite you to the next stage.
