About RVG

Here at RVG, we build supportive, vibrant communities for later living. Our mission is to transform retirement living with innovative solutions, sustainable practices, and experiences that truly enrich the lives of our residents.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Commercial FP&A Analyst to join our finance team. You’ll deliver financial insights, support business decision-making, and help drive commercial performance across the Group. You’ll work closely with colleagues from finance, operations, and other teams, contributing to projects that shape the future of our villages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare management reports, balanced scorecards, and dashboards to provide timely, accurate, and insightful financial information for leadership
  • Lead budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term planning processes, ensuring assumptions and scenarios are well-documented and aligned with strategic objectives
  • Manage asset valuations with external valuers and support bi-annual investor valuations, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Conduct financial due diligence and provide detailed analysis for strategic initiatives, including acquisitions, disposals, and transformation projects
  • Analyse commercial performance of new products, services, suppliers, and initiatives, identifying opportunities for revenue growth and cost efficiency
  • Support the development and assessment of business cases, including post-investment performance reviews and scenario modelling
  • Collaborate with operations, property, and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting, track KPIs, and provide actionable insights
  • Contribute to shaping the Group’s data strategy, helping to integrate new technology platforms and optimise data capture and analysis
  • Prepare high-quality papers and presentations for the Board and committees, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights
  • Visit villages on an ad hoc basis to understand operational drivers, validate assumptions, and support improvement initiatives

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
