FP&A Analyst - 3 Month Contract
Up to £300 per day - Inside IR35
Role Overview
This is a 3-month interim contract supporting the Group FP&A function through the annual global budget process, alongside the transition of budgeting and reporting from a legacy planning system to a modern cloud-based Oracle EPBCS/FCCS platform. The role reports into the FP&A Director and offers the chance to play a hands-on role in a significant systems transformation for a global business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support finance teams globally in uploading budget scenarios into the new Oracle EPBCS/FCCS system
- Convert budget templates and data from the legacy system into the new chart of accounts structure
- Carry out reconciliations between old and new systems to confirm budgets have loaded accurately and completely
- Build new templates and reporting outputs from scratch to support go-live of the new system
- Work with regional finance teams to ensure divisional budgets align with and deliver global targets
- Support the phasing of budgets across the year in line with business seasonality and reporting requirements
- Act as a point of contact for regional teams on budget-loading queries throughout the process
- Provide variance analysis and support FP&A Directors in understanding key movements against budget and prior periods
- Ensure all required business inputs are provided on a timely basis to support reporting deadlines

- Previous FP&A experience required, ideally within a multi-site or global business
- Prior experience of a system migration or budget system transition desired
Skills
- Strong systems capability, including knowledge of or experience using Oracle EPBCS/FCCS
- Advanced Excel skills, comfortable working with large, complex data sets
- Strong analytical mindset with a genuine interest in problem solving and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate key messages in a simple, accessible and concise format
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across regional teams and multiple time zones
- Comfortable working independently in an interim capacity with minimal onboarding time
