FP&A Analyst
As an FP&A Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting financial planning and analysis, helping the business make informed decisions. Your day-to-day will involve working with data, budgets, and forecasts to ensure the company runs efficiently and effectively.
Client Details
A growing consumer goods business is looking for an FP&A Analyst to join its commercial finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to move beyond traditional accounting and gain greater exposure to forecasting, budgeting, and commercial decision-making.
Description
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Produce monthly management reporting and variance analysis
- Analyse revenue, costs, and business performance against forecasts
- Build and maintain financial models to support business planning
- Partner with operational and commercial teams to understand performance
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within financial results
- Assist with preparation of presentations and reporting for senior management
- Support ad-hoc commercial analysis and business cases

Profile
A Successful FP&A Analyst Should Have
- Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or qualified by experience
- Previous experience within management accounting, commercial finance, or FP&A
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Confident working with large volumes of financial data
- Strong communication skills with an ability to explain numbers to non-finance stakeholders
- Commercially minded and keen to develop within FP&A

Job Offer
- Competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £45,000, dependent on the level of experience
