About The Job
Do you enjoy getting under the skin of a business, influencing commercial decisions, and turning financial data into meaningful insight?
We're looking for an FP&A Analyst – Commercial Finance Business Partner to join Comms-Care, where you'll play a key role in shaping commercial decisions, driving profitability, and supporting long-term business growth.
This isn't a traditional reporting role. You'll work closely with Sales, Operations, Service Delivery, and senior leaders, providing commercial insight and financial challenge on complex customer contracts, pricing decisions, and strategic initiatives.
If you're naturally curious, commercially minded, and enjoy partnering with stakeholders to influence outcomes, this is an opportunity to make a real impact in a growing technology services business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Partnering with business leaders to support commercial decision-making and business performance.
- Providing financial insight on new business opportunities, contract renewals, and commercial initiatives.
- Analysing margins, profitability, and business performance to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Supporting pricing governance and helping ensure commercially sound decision-making.
- Evaluating complex commercial contracts and recurring revenue agreements.
- Delivering meaningful reporting and insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial performance, efficiency, and profitability.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
