A highly successful market leading Insurer are hiring for a recently qualified accountant to join their commercial finance function as an FP&A Analyst. The role will be responsible for turning detailed financial, technical and operational information into meaningful management insight, helping senior stakeholders gain a clear understanding of business performance and make well-informed strategic decisions.

Responsibilities will include;

  • Deliver insightful management information and performance analysis for senior leadership and Board audiences, supporting informed strategic decisions.
  • Develop and enhance dashboards, reporting tools and visual MI solutions to provide clear and accessible business performance information.
  • Analyse financial and operational results, identifying key trends, variances and underlying drivers and translating these into actionable insight.
  • Build strong relationships across Finance, Actuarial and the wider business, providing trusted advice, constructive challenge and data-led recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, data quality and automation, supporting wider Finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team culture while taking ownership of professional development and building broader technical, analytical and commercial expertise.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Experience work in Insurance or with a portfolio of Insurance clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
  • Demonstrable experience for financial analysis, reporting or FP&A
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to build, develop and maintain relationships with senior leaders
  • Experience using Power BI is advantageous

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary on offer is up to £79k + discretionary bonus, comprehensive benefits and hybrid working
