Position Summary

LifeScan is establishing a dedicated New Products pillar within the FP&A organization to support the company’s growth agenda. The New Products FP&A Analyst will support financial planning, business case development, investment evaluation, forecasting, and performance tracking for new product and innovation initiatives.

This role helps build the financial architecture supporting new products from concept through development, commercialization, launch, and post-launch scale-up. It combines strategic finance, investment analysis, portfolio management, forecasting, and hands-on business partnership.

This is a newly created, high-visibility role at the intersection of Finance, Product, Commercial, Marketing, and Supply Chain, and collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure new product investments are financially sound, supported by robust assumptions, appropriately resourced, and tracked rigorously.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

New Product Business Case Development & Investment Analysis

  • Partner with Product, Commercial, Marketing, Business Intelligence, and Operations teams to build robust business cases for new product and innovation initiatives.
  • Translate market opportunity, customer adoption, pricing, channel strategy, product positioning, launch timing, and cost assumptions into integrated revenue, margin, EBITDA, cash flow, and investment models.
  • Build financial scenario models evaluating key variables: pricing, channel strategy, volume ramp curves, cost structure, and launch timing. Sensitize assumptions and quantify upside and downside risk.
  • Support leadership in prioritizing, accelerating, deferring, redesigning, or stopping initiatives based on strategic fit, financial attractiveness, risk, and portfolio balance.
  • Ensure new-product investment decisions are integrated with the company’s broader growth strategy, financial targets, and enterprise resource-allocation process.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
