Draken believes in fair reward and recognition for our employees. As such, we offer competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package including up to 12% matching pension contributions, bonus incentives, discounted PMI, electric car scheme, tech vouchers, wellbeing programmes and much more.

About The Role

We are seeking an FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team and provide high-quality planning, analysis and insight to support informed decision-making across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career finance professional looking to build broad commercial finance and FP&A experience within a dynamic aviation environment.

Working closely with Finance Business Partners and senior finance colleagues, you will support the preparation of the group consolidated annual budget, reforecasts, five-year plans and monthly reporting. You will consolidate submissions from across Finance, prepare the budget balance sheet and cash flow, and turn financial information into clear commentary and meaningful insight for the UK Leadership Team and shareholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend budget, contract and overhead review meetings with Finance Business Partners and the UK Leadership Team, helping to understand and challenge assumptions and promote a consistent approach across departments.
  • Consolidate contract and overhead budget P&L submissions from the wider Finance team, including all required consolidation adjustments.
  • Prepare the group consolidated budget balance sheet and cash flow, incorporating items such as capital expenditure, tax and interest cash outflows.
  • Provide insight and analysis on year-on-year budget movements and support annual budget and five-year plan presentations.
  • Attend month-end and programme review meetings to build a strong understanding of contract performance.
  • Prepare clear monthly commentary covering in-month and year-to-date performance, together with variances against budget.
  • Support the preparation of reforecasts against original budget assumptions, gathering input from Finance and the UK Leadership Team.
  • Support the VP Finance with materials for monthly senior leadership and quarterly Board meetings.
  • Provide support to the Group Accounting Manager with monthly consolidated management accounts and the annual audit, as required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
