FP&A Analyst
Hybrid working (based in Widnes)
Exciting opportunity for an analytically minded AAT qualified, CIMA/ACCA PQ, or QBE, to join a global leader.
We have an opportunity for an FP&A Analyst with a strong commercial and analytic emphasis. Reporting to the GM Reporting Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining, analysing and reporting production, sales and commercial data to provide the business with timely and accurate information and insights, with a remit to help grow the business.

Based in our Widnes office, you will be working with the GM Reporting Centre of Excellence team, with responsibility for multiple countries across EMEA.
FP&A Management Accountant Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Pro-active checking and maintenance of primary sales and margin data
- Dealing with inbound margin-related queries from the business
- Posting margin adjustments and related journals
- Maintaining balance sheet accounts and producing balance sheet reconciliations
- Carrying out regular SOX compliance tests such as LOCOM and sales cut-off
- Performing monthly product costing runs and costing individual products as required
- Analysing and reporting on non-COGS selling costs, producing month-end summary and commentary on main cost drivers and identifying areas to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Providing cover for other GM CofE team members in all of the above tasks
- Other ad-hoc duties to include support for the GM Reporting Supervisor and Head of GM Reporting in other FP&A matters

What We Are Looking For
An AAT qualified or CIMA/ACCA studier, or someone QBE with relevant skills and knowledge. We will support your development & study in this exciting role within what is a progressive, fast paced company that prides itself on growing our people.
You will be a very strong communicator, with the interpersonal skills required to become an effective business partner. You will be numerate, with a sharp analytical mind with an ability to interpret data, commercial acumen, creativity, an ability to ‘tell the story’, and to focus the business on what matters.
Advanced Excel is required. Any experience with SAP would be an advantage.
You will be enthusiastic, with a proactive attitude and an ability to manage your own workload.
