The Role

The role will play a key part in providing financial insight and analysis that supports informed decision-making, drives business performance, and contributes to the achievement of the business strategic growth objectives.

Description

  • Support the preparation of rolling forecasts and cash flow forecasts, ensuring assumptions are accurate and aligned with operational and commercial plans.
  • Assist in developing financial models to support scenario planning, pricing decisions, cost management, and capital investment projects.
  • Deliver insightful monthly performance reporting, highlighting key variances, risks, opportunities, and actions to improve results.
  • Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insight that supports decision-making, resource planning, and business growth.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to ensure business activities align with strategic objectives, sustainability goals, and customer commitments.
  • Communicate financial information clearly and effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting, forecasting, and performance management processes.
  • Promote a culture of value creation, accountability, and informed decision-making by linking operational performance to financial outcomes.

Profile

  • ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualified or part-qualified.
  • Previous experience in an FP&A, Financial Analyst, or Commercial Finance role.
  • Strong forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience building financial models.
  • Confident working with and supporting non-finance stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial businesses preferred.
  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365, Power BI, or similar reporting systems would be beneficial.
