FP&A Analyst

Location: Cricklewood, North London (3 days per week in the office)
Salary: Up to £65,000 + excellent benefits

Cedar is partnering with a well-established, large-scale transport business to recruit a Qualified FP&A Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity to join a commercially focused finance team within a business that operates across multiple UK sites and is backed by a strong international parent company.

This is a highly visible role where you'll partner with senior stakeholders across the business, providing financial insight to support strategic decision-making. You'll play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, performance analysis, and board reporting, making a real impact on business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting processes.
  • Produce detailed financial models to support business decisions and investment cases.
  • Deliver insightful variance analysis and provide clear commentary on financial performance.
  • Produce and monitor financial and operational KPIs for senior management.
  • Partner with finance and operational teams to identify opportunities to improve performance.
  • Support month-end reporting, board packs, and executive-level analysis.
  • Develop and enhance reporting through improved use of Excel, data, and analytics.

About You

  • Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) - essential.
  • Previous experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, or Financial Analysis within industry.
  • Strong experience of budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and management reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential, including financial modelling, handling large datasets, and building robust reporting models.
  • Confident analyzing financial data and turning insights into commercial recommendations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Commercially minded, proactive, and naturally analytical.
