This is a senior market-facing role for a recognised finance transformation leader who can engage credibly with CFOs, controllership leaders and senior FP&A stakeholders. You’ll join a growing Projects & Consulting practice where you can combine strategic advisory, commercial leadership and delivery excellence: building trusted executive relationships, shaping major transformation opportunities, leading high-impact programmes and developing the FP&A proposition that will support the continued growth of Capgemini’s finance transformation business.
Your role
As FP&A Business Transformation Director, you will take a visible leadership role in the market, helping clients respond to increasing pressure for faster planning cycles, more accurate forecasting, stronger performance insight and better use of data, automation and EPM platforms.
- Lead the growth of Capgemini’s FP&A transformation capability, shaping our market proposition, points of view, methods and accelerators.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with CFOs, finance transformation leaders, controllership teams and senior FP&A stakeholders.
- Originate, shape and support the conversion of high-value consulting and transformation opportunities across existing and new clients.
- Lead complex FP&A transformation engagements, from strategy and business case through to design, implementation and adoption.
- Advise clients on modern planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, analytics and decision-support models enabled by platforms such as Anaplan, OneStream, Board, SAP, Oracle and Power BI.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
