£500 - £600 per day (Depending on experience)

Job description

An innovative research organisation is seeking an experienced FP&A consultant to join the team on an interim basis. This is a unique opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys combining traditional FP&A with technology, automation and AI. Alongside budgeting, forecasting and reporting, you'll design and build tools that automate manual finance processes, improve data quality and provide better insights for decision-makers.

Working closely with Finance, Data and Technology teams, you'll play a key role in shaping how financial information is captured, analysed and reported across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance financial models, forecasts and budgeting processes.
  • Produce insightful management reporting and analysis for senior stakeholders.
  • Design and implement automation tools that streamline finance processes and reduce manual reporting.
  • Connect data across finance and operational systems to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop financial reporting tools, dashboards and workflow automations.
  • Use AI and emerging technologies to improve forecasting, analysis and financial reporting.
  • Build and document robust financial models, controls and data structures.
  • Support wider finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively across Finance, Technology and operational teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
