FP&A Consultant – PE-Backed Professional Services
Day Rate: c.£600 per day
Location: Remote

Finatal are working with a mid-market, private equity-backed professional services business that is looking to appoint an experienced FP&A Consultant to support the business through an important period of growth and refinancing.
The role will have significant exposure to the CFO, senior leadership team, investors, and lenders, requiring someone who can operate confidently at board and senior stakeholder level.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling across the business.
- Support the CFO through an ongoing refinancing process, including lender forecasts, scenario analysis, and covenant modelling.
- Provide clear analysis and insight around cash flow, EBITDA, working capital, and business performance, with a great understanding of GRR and NRR.
- Partner closely with sales and commercial teams, providing financial insight to support revenue growth, pricing, and profitability.
- Develop robust reporting and KPI frameworks to improve visibility of business performance.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to challenge assumptions and translate financial data into commercial decisions.

You will ideally have:
- Proven refinancing/lender-facing experience.
- Strong forecasting and financial modelling skills.
- Excellent commercial business partnering experience, particularly with commercial teams.
- Experience working within a PE-backed or investor-backed business.
- Strong senior stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently with CFOs, CEOs, investors, and lenders.
- A hands-on approach and the ability to operate independently from day one.
- Immediate availability.
