FP&A Data Analyst

Location: London

Salary: Up to £75,000

The finance function plays a key role in supporting growth initiatives, driving performance improvements, and delivering insights to senior leadership.

The Role

As an FP&A Data Analyst, you will sit within the Group Finance function, supporting business performance reporting, investment analysis, and reporting improvement initiatives across the organisation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Produce monthly financial and operational reporting
  • Clean, validate, and consolidate data from multiple sources
  • Analyse profitability, utilisation, and key business KPIs
  • Build and improve Excel and Power BI reporting solutions
  • Create reporting packs for senior stakeholders and leadership teams
  • Support investment performance and ROI analysis
  • Work with data warehouse outputs and improve data quality
  • Partner with finance, BI, and business stakeholders
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis and commercial insights
  • Drive reporting automation and process improvements

This role offers exposure to senior stakeholders, board-level reporting, and a varied mix of financial analysis, business partnering, and reporting transformation projects.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience within FP&A, Commercial Finance, Management Accounting, Finance Business Partnering, or Financial Analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills including XLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, SUMIFS, and data manipulation
  • Experience working with multiple data sources and complex reporting requirements
  • Strong understanding of financial performance reporting, profitability analysis, and commercial KPIs
  • Experience cleaning, transforming, and validating data
  • Power BI experience including Power Query, data modelling, and reporting
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience within professional services, consulting, accountancy, is preferred
  • A proactive approach to improving reporting processes and identifying efficiencies
