EPM Development Leader
NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS), a joint venture between Sopra Steria and the NHS, is looking for an experienced EPM Development Leader to help shape and grow our Enterprise Performance Management capability.
In this highly client-facing role, you will lead the development of new EPM solutions, working closely with clients, finance teams, and technology specialists to understand requirements and create scalable, standardized services.
You will work across Oracle EPM Cloud, Oracle Fusion, and Oracle R12.2, helping clients improve financial planning, forecasting, reconciliation, consolidation, and wider performance management processes.
You will also play a key role in developing new capability through an MVP approach, ensuring solutions are successfully designed, embedded, and scaled across NHS SBS.
This is a hybrid opportunity and can be based anywhere in the UK. You will be expected to travel to one of our sites in the North of England at least twice a month.
What you will be doing:
- Lead client-facing EPM advisory and implementation engagements, from initial requirements through to delivery.
- Design and develop Oracle EPM solutions, including EPBCS/PBCS, FCCS, and ARCS.
- Work with clients to understand complex finance and performance management requirements and translate them into practical, scalable solutions.
- Lead the development of new EPM capability using an MVP approach, helping create standardized and scalable services.
- Develop and manage data integration processes, ensuring EPM solutions connect effectively with wider finance and business systems.
- Build strong relationships with senior clients and stakeholders, identifying opportunities to improve, expand, and develop EPM services.

What you will bring:
- Experience across Enterprise Performance Management, ideally within a complex finance, consulting, or shared-services environment.
- Strong experience working with Oracle EPM Cloud solutions, including EPBCS/PBCS and FCCS.
- A strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and reconciliation processes.
- Experience designing, developing, or implementing EPM solutions within a complex organization or client environment.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex requirements into practical solutions.
- Experience operating at a senior level within an EPM and/or Account-to-Report (A2R) environment, helping shape strategy and drive improvements.
