Job Title: FP&A Finance Business Partner

Location: Manchester / Hybrid (2 days in the office)

About the Job

We're looking for an FP&A Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team at Escode. In this role, you'll work closely with business leaders across the organisation, helping them understand performance, identify opportunities and make informed decisions that drive growth and profitability.

This is more than a traditional FP&A role. You'll combine financial expertise with data analytics, business partnering and continuous improvement, using insight to influence strategy and support key commercial decisions. You'll also play an important role in improving reporting, forecasting and the use of automation and AI to improve efficiency, enhance reporting capabilities and support better business outcomes.

Key Accountabilities

  • Partner with business leaders to provide financial insight, challenge and support decision making.
  • Own and coordinate the development, maintenance and delivery of financial plans, budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy, transparency and alignment with business objectives.
  • Deliver meaningful analysis and performance reporting that drives business value.
  • Identify trends, risks and opportunities through financial and operational data.
  • Support Executive Leadership Team and Board reporting.
  • Improve reporting processes, data quality and analytical capabilities across the business.
  • Explore opportunities to leverage automation, AI and data analytics to enhance efficiency and insight.

Skills

  • Qualified Accountant with relevant FP&A and/or Finance Business Partnering experience.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insight.
  • Stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience using Power BI and financial modelling tools.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest and experience in using AI and automation to improve reporting, analysis and decision making.
